im really getting down to the core today---
did anyone else here ( besides me ) set out to do some legit stuff with animatiing but get kinda caught up in doing a bunch of stupid "funny" cartoons?
i would really like to get to some more serious shit at some point. im just curious if any other animators started that way?

um well, me and my friend rainbow just made a come back cartoon called we're not dead.
I'd like to say I have plans to do everything, serious, horror, mostly comedies.
I started with comedy because it's so fun and natural for me, but I also needed to start with Rainbow because he and I see eye to eye on what is hilarious. the end result is our charmingly unprofessional and immature humor.
We have bigger and more serious works on the way. In fact one of our dream projects is called 40 year old surgeon. It's about a guy at his party who has never opened a b day present and I'd call it a step up from our regular stuff. But we also have another dream project called, The man who had hella awesome and different stuff happen to him a lot in one day, and that one is more like a long version of our usual stuff.
