what was that scrolling shooter where you ride dragons called?

there used to be this game when I was first coming to NG that I was obsessed with.
it was a pretty basic scrolling shooter and there was a little armored dude riding a dragon - and you
could upgrade the dragon and it was fun...

how ever I can't seem to find it post-redesign

let me know if you remember it!
